Job Description

Skills: 

  • Experience in B2B sales/business development for IT services, software solutions, SaaS, or staff augmentation.
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales, lead qualification, sales funnel management, and consultative selling.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and prospecting platforms such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email outreach tools.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to work with ownership, maintain follow-up discipline, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable engaging with domestic and international clients across different time zones.

 

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads for TechCompose’s priority business areas: custom software solutions,
    staff augmentation, and CRM/product sales.
  • Build focused target lists by industry, geography, company size, and use case instead of pursuing unqualified leads.
  • Use tools such as CRM, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email tools, and AI-assisted personalization tools for prospecting and outreach.
  • Drive outbound activity through cold email, LinkedIn, partnerships, networking, past client re- engagement, and other relevant channels.
  • Schedule discovery calls, demos, and proposal discussions with prospects.
  • Coordinate with technical and management teams for understanding requirements, solution discussion, effort alignment, and proposal movement.
  • Maintain complete and accurate pipeline visibility in CRM, including lead source, stage, follow-up notes, proposal status, and closure probability.
  • Re-activate dormant clients and mine existing accounts for repeat business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Support domestic and international business development efforts and respond to priority prospects within the agreed turnaround time.
  • Participate in daily/weekly sales reviews and share updates on leads, meetings, proposals, closures, issues, and support needed.
  • Achieve a target revenue-to-cost ratio, with an expected benchmark of at least 5X annual revenue against fixed compensation, subject to business line, lead source, and ramp-up period.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools (e.g., lead generation, outreach automation, proposal drafting) using platforms like OpenAI tools, Anthropic Claude, NA10 or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of SaaS/IT services business models, client lifecycle, and consultative selling approaches.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, conversion metrics, and generate actionable insights.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or IT services.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive revenue growth and build client relationships.
